I'm from San Digo CA, completed some College (just shy of an Associates), though my Math and English is about 4th to 5th grade level, at a Spelling Bee a 3rd grader would actually whoop me.
While growing up, as a young kid my Dad was a hobbyist beekeeper.

During college I started a business removing honeybees from walls of homes and businesses. At that time all removal companies were killing honeybees (aprox. 20,000 bee colonies per yr). Exterminating honeybees when bees were found in walls and roofs of structures, and bush and tree swarms Link, Exterminating became common practice starting around 1990's throughout the lower portion of the US, as fewer beekeepers wanted to do free removal.

In 2007 I was the first company that transitioned to live bee rescue, relocating honeybees to beekeepers vs extermination; live removal was super rewarding experience. Through my efforts of live bee removal at risk states of California, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana and Florida now all provide options of live removal of honeybees. Though it wasn't lucrative as hoped, it made a difference to health of honeybees, and I gained sysop /admin online web experience.

Before working with bees, while doing volunteer work (in my early 20's) I had caught a flu-bug like addiction. Fifteen years later after many failures, I stumbled onto creating a 7day score card challenge, and used journaling to self as a form of study. Now I keep a pocket notebook book to scribble thoughts & ideas daily.
